What happens if I go over the daily volume limit specified in my plan?
You can use the Log Volume Usage dashboard and the Search Volume Usage details to gain a clear understanding of your data volume capacity needs. Additionally, the Pro and Enterprise service plan tiers provide Peak Overage Protection (POP), which ensures your data is captured even if you exceed your subscription level. If the subscription level is exceeded more than three days in any month, data beyond the subscription level won’t be indexed or retained until the account is upgraded to a subscription level that wouldn’t have resulted in capping. What if I don’t know my daily log volume?
In the Loggly application, you can use the Log Volume Usage dashboard to gain an in-depth understanding of your specific sources of log volume usage. You can gain further insight with the Search Volume Usage detail views, including the volumes associated with specific searches or source groups. Finally, your Account Overview page displays real-time metrics for your daily log volume. Together, these give you a comprehensive and proactive way to understand your log volume needs and usage so you can determine the best subscription level.

Does Loggly offer annual subscription plans?

Can I change plans at any time?
You may change tiers or subscription levels at any time. All subscriptions are prepaid for the month, so any increases will be prorated for the remaining days in the month. You can make changes from your Account page or contact the Loggly sales team to help you find the right plan for your needs.

Is credit card the only billing option?
For month-to-month plans, Loggly offers credit card billing only. For annual prepaid plans, we can provide for alternative forms of payment.

What is the process for getting started?
Getting started with Loggly is easy. Signup takes less than 60 seconds, and your account is immediately provisioned and ready for logs. Your full-featured trial provides 30 days of unlimited data volume, and during this time you can select a plan to meet your needs. At the end of your trial, your account will convert to the Lite package, which offers basic log management functionality free of charge.
